Stephen X. Giunta, M.D.

Dr. Stephen X. Giunta, is a native of New York State and a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine. He is Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology (face, head and neck surgery), and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is also Certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and a Charter Member of the American Academy of Aesthetic and Restorative Surgery among many other accomplishments.

After five years of post graduate training and extensive experience in the private practice of face, head and neck plastic and reconstructive surgery Dr. Giunta gravitated to the exclusive practice of Aesthetic Surgery.

He has completed postgraduate study in Facial Surgery both in New York City and Rome, Italy. His natural inclination and artistic appreciation find fulfillment and expression in this creative field.

Dr. Giunta's contributions include several original operations and instruments that bear his name. He introduced the use of the laser and the microscope in Phalloplasty Surgery and has spent ten years perfecting these techniques. As a member of many scientific societies, he is a frequent lecturer both here and abroad. Dr. Giunta has performed over 2,500 Phalloplasty procedures.
